Contactors Electrical

- ECT µHPC/GA
contactors achieve optimum electrical performance by creating the shortest
possible path through the contactor, while minimizing signal distortion
and power and ground source impedance, assuring optimal production test
yields.
- Capacitance, inductance
and DC resistance are kept low by making the path as short, wide and
conductive as possible.
- The electrical
path through the contactor is very short - about 3.5mm (0.140").
- Contact resistance
is minimized by having all of the components of the electrical path
gold plated, and by maximizing the contact area between the contact
lead and the DUT contact surface.
- The density of
the SMM wire matrix ensures that the SMM touches the contact element
and the interface board pad with a large number of conductors, reducing
the contact resistance at these points.
